John Jakubek

I love the creative aspect of making living breathing gardens. I started landscaping in 1998 and launched my own business in 2003. Prior to that, I had worked in interior design, painting, drywalling, electrical, and plumbing . As my interest developed in exterior design, I began working with landscape designers and architects, and became a pro at landscape design, irrigation, lighting, fencing, gates, patios, fountains, etc.

I enjoy working outside, and being in the elements – being in tune with nature and the seasons, seeing how things grow and develop, and sharing my unique knowledge and perspective with my clients. It gives me great pleasure to work with home owners and help them develop their outdoor living spaces to give them peace and comfort. To be able to come home and have your own little corner of the world carved out— a serene space, a refuge, a peaceful retreat— is a priceless commodity in a busy city like Los Angeles.

Landscape design allows me to be of service to others and provide them with an emotional experience and a better quality of life, which will enrich their spiritual experience and enliven their capacity for contentment.
